Key Responsibilities
Performing thorough assessments, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized care plans for patients
Diagnosing and managing a wide range of health conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently, based on your certifications
Guiding patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness
Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by your scope of practice
Engaging in chronic care management and patient follow-ups
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
Education and Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
