Your Role and Responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments, recommending necessary tests, and developing tailored care plans
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or independently as per your credentials
Providing education on prevention, wellness practices, and chronic disease management to patients and families
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care efficiently
Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care seamlessly
Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
