Nurse Practitioner / NP Specialist

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (as per your credentialing)

Providing essential education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and managing various health issues

Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic regimens within your scope of practice

Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management

Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and cohesive healthcare

Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need to Thrive

A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Washington

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capacity to obtain them within 90 days)
