Your Role Will Include
Performing detailed patient evaluations, ordering tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (depending on your certification)
Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and chronic disease awareness
Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in line with your scope of practice
Engaging in follow-up care and aiding in chronic disease management
Working with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive, patient-centered care
Ensuring all patient documentation is kept accurate and thorough within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications and Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Qualifications from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required
Valid Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Washington
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
