Your Responsibilities Will Include

Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies

Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in partnership with medical professionals or independently, depending on credentials

Providing education to patients and their families focused on wellness, prevention, and the management of health conditions

Prescribing treatments and medications aligned with your scope of practice

Engaging in follow-up care and chronic illness management

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care

Comprehensively documenting patient encounters within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Prerequisites

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Washington

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialization equivalent

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
