Your Contributions Will Include
Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and formulating personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in tandem with physicians or independently based on your credentialing
Educating patients and their families on preventive care, wellness initiatives, and disease management practices
Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope
Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic patient care
Documenting all patient interactions precisely within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Prerequisites
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Minnesota
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or similar credential
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
Distinguishing Skills
Strong clinical judgment paired with an empathetic patient approach
Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Ability to adapt in busy, patient-centered settings
Familiarity with EMR systems and comfortable utilizing telehealth technologies
