Nurse Practitioner
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a to Nurse Practitioner fill an opening in Utica, New York.
Daily Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner: Conduct comprehensive assessments
Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions
Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM
Required Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner: Active and unrestricted license in New York
Needs to have minimum 1 year working experience as an NP (they will not accept new grads with no experience)
NP: Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program
NP: Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center
Preferred Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner: 1+ year of clinical experience in practice (long-term care setting preferred)
Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs
Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness
Understanding of Advanced Illness and end of life discussions

Pay Details: $85 - $92/ Hour
