Your Responsibilities

Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering relevant diagnostic procedures, and devising personalized treatment plans

Diagnosing and addressing both acute and chronic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians, based on your credentials

Instructing patients and their families on wellness strategies, illness prevention, and effective disease management

Administering prescriptions and therapies within the regulatory scope of your practice

Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management

Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care

Meticulously documenting all interactions within electronic medical systems (EMR)

What You Need to Bring

Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

Current Nurse Practitioner licensure for Virginia

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to acquire within 90 days)
