Washington, DC $118,870 - $150,286 a year

Your Daily Responsibilities

Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic assessments, and developing tailored care strategies

Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or independently based on your credentials

Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and disease management techniques

Prescribing medications within your scope of practice

Engaging in continuous patient follow-ups and chronic disease management

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery

Accurately documenting all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completed education at an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

Continuous Nurse Practitioner licensure in the District of Columbia

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
