Your Daily Adventures Will Include

Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic examinations, and designing personalized treatment plans

Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently, in line with your credentials

Educating patients and their families on prevention strategies, wellness initiatives, and effective disease management

Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments as authorized

Engaging in patient follow-ups and comprehensive chronic care management

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver continuous, holistic healthcare

Maintaining detailed and precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Required

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications You Will Need

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Kansas

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or eligibility to secure within 90 days)
