Your Role and Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient evaluations, order essential tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses independently or in partnership with supervising physicians
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, prevention, and effective disease management
Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your competencies
Engage in follow-ups and manage chronic health conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and cohesive care
Maintain accurate records and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
Essential Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
Licensure and Certifications Required
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
