Nurse Practitioner (NP) Wound Care
Gettysburg, PA
Overview:
Our practice in Gettysburg is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide advanced wound care assessments and individualized treatment plans. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with strong sign-on and completion bonuses.
Position Offers:
Schedule: Monday Friday, no nights
Competitive pay: $140 000 annually (DOE), with a $5,000 salary increase after completing training
$5,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 bonus after 6 months

Malpractice coverage (with tail)
$1,500 toward Continuing Medical Education (CME), plus 5 CME days annually
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced wound assessments, including etiology determination, staging, and risk stratification
Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including dressing selection and pressure injury prevention
Perform debridement procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines
Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans based on patient response
Educate patients and families on wound care, self-management, and factors affecting healing
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation, nutrition, and case management for coordinated care
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR
Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare, and insurance requirements, including coding and documentation
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with current NP board certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
Active, current NP licensure in Pennsylvania, or eligibility
Experience in wound care management; wound care certification preferred (CWOCN, CWS, WCC, or equivalent)
