Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Wound Care
Gettysburg, PA
nOverview:
Our practice in Gettysburg is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide advanced wound care assessments and individualized treatment plans. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with strong sign-on and completion bonuses.
nPosition Offers:
nnSchedule: Monday–Friday, no nights
nCompetitive pay: $140,000–145,000 annually (DOE), with a $5,000 salary increase after completing training
n$5,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 bonus after 6 months

nMalpractice coverage (with tail)
n$1,500 toward Continuing Medical Education (CME), plus 5 CME days annually
n nKey Responsibilities:
nnPerform advanced wound assessments, including etiology determination, staging, and risk stratification
nDevelop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including dressing selection and pressure injury prevention
nPerform debridement procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines
nMonitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans based on patient response
nEducate patients and families on wound care, self-management, and factors affecting healing
nCollaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation, nutrition, and case management for coordinated care
nDocument assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR
nEnsure compliance with CMS, Medicare, and insurance requirements, including coding and documentation
n nQualifications:
nnMaster's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with current NP board certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
nActive, current NP licensure in Pennsylvania, or eligibility
nExperience in wound care management; wound care certification preferred (CWOCN, CWS, WCC, or equivalent)
