Your Role and Responsibilities
Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing personalized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, either collaboratively with physicians or independently, as per medical credentialing
Providing education to patients and families regarding preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your practice scope
Engaging in follow-up care and management of chronic health conditions
Collaborating seamlessly across multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure valid in New York
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
