Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hospitalist (Bloomington Hospital)
IU Health Medical Group is hiring!We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team atBloomingtonHospital!
Full-Time Days
Schedule- Varies week to week
Rotation- Schedule includes weekend rotation with no more than 1 in every 2 weekends
No call
No procedural requirements
Adult patients in the inpatient setting coming from the South Region in and around Bloomington, whichincludes the college student population and those from more rural areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing hospital admissions, in collaboration with a physician, along with rounding responsibilities.
APP will also provide cross coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
ACNP, FNP or PA certifications required
Experience preferred but new grads are considered
APP should have strong desire to work at the top of their license and have multiple years' experience working as either a Hospitalist APP or ICU APP.
If new to the workforce, would prefer for the APP's training to include significant time in the inpatient setting.

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center, part of the Indiana University Health Medical Group, opened in December 2021.
