Job Overview
Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner needed for a 40‑hour week clinic‑based position in Pueblo, Colorado. The provider will see patients in clinic and via telehealth, administering intramuscular medication and supporting patients with addiction or substance use disorders (alcohol, opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines, etc.). Experience in Emergency Room, Primary Care, or psychiatry is helpful; no prior addiction medicine experience is required.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations and treatment plans in an outpatient addiction medicine setting.
Provide medication‑assisted treatment and behavioral health services.
Administer intramuscular medications by injection.
Deliver care via telehealth and in‑clinic appointments.
Work a day shift, Monday–Friday 8:30‑4:30 and Saturday rotation.
Qualifications
Certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
License to practice in Colorado.
Strong interest in serving underserved populations.
Willingness to learn new concepts, including addiction medicine.
Job Details
Full‑time, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, Monday‑Friday with Saturday rotation.
Salary and Benefits
Pay range: $115,000–$135,000 per year.
