Job description
Providence is seeking a Palliative Care nurse practitioner to join a growing program serving patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and expand a developing service line while receiving exceptional support, mentorship and training from an established palliative care team.
nThe role offers a balanced practice focused on symptom management in the outpatient setting and goals-of-care and end-of-life discussions in the hospital. Providence is committed to developing the right candidate and provides a structured training experience.
nPosition Details:
nnnFull-time position

nnBlend of inpatient and outpatient care
n
nnApproximately 2 days clinic and 3 days hospital each week
n
nnMonday to Friday schedule with flexibility
n
nnNo call requirements
n
nnStructured onboarding and ramp-up plan with mentorship from an experienced Palliative Care team and medical director
n
nnOpportunity to help build and shape a growing program
n
nnDedicated hospital social work support
n
nnStrong collaborative relationship with community hospice partners
n
n nCompensation & Benefits:
nnnCompensation is between $136,856 and $169,403 per year
n
nnCompetitive benefits package

n nThe compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
