Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Advocare Grove Family Medical Associates in charming Haddonfield, NJ seeking a provider with excellent qualifications to join our growing suburban practice. Seeking a provider for part-time or full-time. Our practice has the benefits of a warm, family environment while being connected to the large Advocare network with excellent resources and benefits. Patients span all ages 16 and older. Strong commitment to promoting healthful living. Practice has outstanding reputation for caring concern for patients; our physicians maintain high standards and have been rated Top Docs over the years. All providers are Board Certified. Practice has been recognized as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home.

Outpatient responsibilities only. Flexible / Stable hours: Full-time providers work four full days per week, with no weekends. Competitive salary and benefits package. Easy commute from Philadelphia on Patco train Haddonfield Station. Nearby are neighborhood parks and trails, as well as all the shops and cafes in historic Haddonfield.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare. This includes providing general and preventive care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and prescribing medications. The NP plays a vital role in all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning, and consultation, while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Nurse Practitioner essential functions include performing physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses, administering and performing diagnostic tests, creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones, detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, educating and counseling patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans, and home care, facilitating the patient's transition within and between health care settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals, planning and managing patient care according to the patient's needs, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, etc., and actively maintaining knowledge of current medical research and trends.

Nurse Practitioner required skills/abilities include proficiency with medical instruments and equipment, knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare workers, and collaborate with team members, ability to think critically, evaluate various options to treat a condition and then identify the one he or she decides will have the best outcome, maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced yet friendly environment, being well organized and detail-oriented, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, and proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion concerning health service records and information.

Education and experience required include board certified advanced practice nurse licensure and graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, such as a Master of Science in nursing.
