Overview
Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiac Access Unit at Morristown Medical Center. The 28-bed unit is located in the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute and focuses on care for patients who will undergo surgeries or cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with a robust Heart Care team to manage, supervise, and support patients in the Cardiac Access, Cardiac Extended, and Cardiac Observation units.
Provide clinical expertise and care in a fast-paced hospital setting, including stress testing environment as applicable.
Qualifications
Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
NP or PA Certification and NJ License
DEA and CDS registration
ACLS and BLS required
Minimum of 2–3 years of Critical Care or Cardiology experience
Excellent communication and computer skills; strong work ethic and ability to work both as part of a team and independently
