* Serve as surgical first assist in the OR—harvesting radial arteries and saphenous veins with precision and skillDeliver expert inpatient consultations for cardiac surgery evaluations and pre-operative workups
Collaborate with top-tier cardiovascular surgeons to provide innovative, exceptional patient care
Help drive the growth of a rapidly expanding regional cardiovascular surgery hub

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current Michigan licensure as an NP or PA
National certification (ANCC or AANP for NP; NCCPA for PA)
DEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA only)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification
Minimum 2 years of OR first assist experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with vein harvesting and radial artery procurement
Prior experience working with cardiothoracic surgical teams
