nn * Serve as surgical first assist in the OR—harvesting radial arteries and saphenous veins with precision and skillnnDeliver expert inpatient consultations for cardiac surgery evaluations and pre-operative workups

n nnQualifications:
Qualifications
nnMaster's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
nCurrent Michigan licensure as an NP or PA
nNational certification (ANCC or AANP for NP; NCCPA for PA)
nDEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA only)
nBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
nAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
nRegistered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification
nMinimum 2 years of OR first assist experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery
n nPreferred Qualifications
nnDemonstrated experience with vein harvesting and radial artery procurement
nPrior experience working with cardiothoracic surgical teams
