Ellis Medicine is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Cardiology team in Amsterdam, New York.

n nClinical Responsibilities
nThe Advanced Practitioner will work collaboratively with cardiologists and the broader care team to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.
nResponsibilities may include:
nnnEvaluating new and established cardiology patients
n
nnObtaining comprehensive medical histories and performing physical examinations
n
nnAssessing, diagnosing, and managing cardiovascular conditions
n
nnDeveloping and implementing individualized treatment plans
n
nnOrdering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing
n
nnManaging medications and providing patient education
n
nnMonitoring patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions
n
nnCoordinating care with cardiologists, primary care providers, and other specialists
n
nnProviding education regarding cardiovascular disease prevention, risk-factor modification, and healthy lifestyle choices
n
nnParticipating in care coordination and follow-up to promote optimal clinical outcomes
n
n nQualifications
nnnCurrent NP or PA certification
n
nnLicensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State
n
nnPrevious experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
n
nnCardiology experience preferred
n
nnStrong clinical judgment and communication skills
n
nnAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
nnCommitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

nEllis Medicine offers a competitive recruitment package designed to support your professional and personal transition to our organization, including:
nnnCompetitive salary range of $134,120-$147,028
n
nnThe posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
