nnManage ICU admissions and conduct comprehensive patient assessments in a fast-paced critical care environment
nDiagnose and treat critically ill patients as a first-line provider alongside intensivist physicians
nPerform critical care documentation and maintain accurate, timely clinical records
nExecute bedside procedures within your scope of practice and credentials, including central line placements and other critical care interventions
nCollaborate with physicians, consultants, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
nProvide patient and family education and care coordination
nEnsure safe, efficient delivery of ICU-level inpatient care
n nnQualifications:
Qualifications
nnCurrent licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Michigan (or proof of application)
nNational certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
nBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
nAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be obtained after hire)
nDEA registration and Michigan Controlled Substance License (PA) or DEA registration (NP) through credentialing
n3+ years of ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
nCentral line placement experience
n nEducation:
nnCompletion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (CCNE or NLNAC) or Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA)
