Serving with Skill. Leading with Heart.

Puerto Rico is facing a healthcare workforce crisis. Thousands of physicians have left the island over the past decade, and the families who remain wait months for appointments, travel long distances for routine care, or go without it entirely. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Alianza Health Partners, you become part of the answer—a clinician whose skill, language, and cultural fluency restore care to communities that have been quietly going without.

Your Impact on Patients

The patients you will see are often meeting a bilingual, culturally attuned provider for the first time in years. Language and cultural alignment change everything: fear becomes comfort, confusion becomes clarity, and a rushed visit becomes a real conversation about health. You will manage chronic conditions that have been neglected, catch problems earlier, and rebuild the trust between patients and the medical system that has been strained by shortages and turnover.

Flexible Travel or Permanent Placement

We know that great clinicians have lives, families, and existing practices on the mainland. That is why Alianza offers both flexible travel rotations and permanent positions in Puerto Rico. Whether you want to serve in extended assignments while keeping ties to your home base, or relocate fully to the island, we will design a schedule that protects your work-life balance while maximizing your impact. Our team handles credentialing, Puerto Rico licensure, scheduling, travel logistics, and housing—so you can focus on patient care from day one.

A Legacy Beyond a Paycheck

The clinicians who join Alianza describe a level of fulfillment they had not felt in years. Patient gratitude is immediate and tangible. Every shift contributes to stabilizing a healthcare system that an entire population depends on, and inspires the next generation of Puerto Rican medical professionals to stay and build their careers here. If you are looking for a role where your bilingual skill and clinical training translate directly into measurable difference, Alianza is the place to do that work.
