Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Thoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join North Jersey Thoracic Surgical Associates. This nationally ranked and expanding service line offers a collaborative practice environment with experienced thoracic surgeons and a high volume of cases. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will support both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities at Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, and satellite outpatient offices.
Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments
Order diagnostic tests
Assist in surgical and post-operative care
Develop and implement treatment plans
Provide patient education
Collaborate with the care team
Maintain accurate electronic medical records
The schedule for this position is a 4‑day work week, varying between Monday-Friday with rotational weekends required.

Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
ACLS and BLS certification required
RNFA certification a plus
Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience preferred
Must have excellent communication and computer skills
Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
