nAbout the Role:
nJoin Druid Hills Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, where you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate and comprehensive healthcare to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care in the heart of Atlanta, GA. We do general primary care and also focus on HIV treatment, prevention, and gender affirming care.
nResponsibilities:
nConduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations.
nDevelop and implement individualized patient care plans.
nDiagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
nPrescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
nEducate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
nDocument patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
nParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care audits.
nRequirements:
nMaster's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
nActive Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia.
nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting.
nStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
nCommitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
nBasic Life Support (BLS) certificate
