Pay for this position is 68.00 to 72.53 hourly depending on experience.
This position is a contract through 2025 with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Requirements: Must be a Licensed NP in the state of California
Must have experience working as an NP
Occupational health experience is not required.
Summary Provide acute episodic ambulatory care, consultative occupational injury/illness care, as well as health and wellness counseling and promotion for employees.
Carry a patient caseload requiring a high degree of independent judgement and advanced skill gained through academic and clinical preparation.
Provide emergency (first- aid) treatments to employees who become ill or suffer an accident on company premises, arranging for transportation to another care provider, if needed.
Provide subcutaneous immunotherapy for individuals in their maintenance phase as deemed by a treating allergist.
Provision of travel health services for individuals traveling internationally requiring review and administration of applicable vaccines, prescription for applicable medications, and education/counseling tailored to the individual's destination and medical history.
Assists in the process of medical leaves of absence and Workers' Compensation.
Participates in periodic evaluations (customers surveys, trend analysis, etc.) of the effectiveness of the Health Services & Resources services provided to the employees.
