Position Overview
We are in need of a Nurse Practitioner to perform independent medical evaluations in Abilene, TX on Saturdays. These exams will be performed for Social Security disability applicants.
Responsibilities
Perform independent medical evaluations for Social Security disability applicants.
Not responsible for prescribing medications.
Not responsible for treating patients.
Not establishing a provider‑patient relationship.
Schedule & Compensation
Shifts available 2 or 3 Saturdays each month, scheduled 1–2 months in advance. Exams are scheduled in 20‑minute intervals from 8 am to 6 pm.
Total compensation for a day ranges from $800 to $1,000 with approximately 20–25 exams completed on average at a pay level of $40 per exam.
