nUnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. As a designated regional referral center Trinity Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of primary and secondary care services. Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
nnnFull-time opportunity practicing in a concierge model Urgent Care
n
nnClinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year
n
nnNo appointments necessary
n
nnFully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
n
n nResponsibilities
nnn34 hours a week (Weekday shifts - 8:00-3:00PM, Weekend 8-8P)
n
nn1:4 Weekend and holiday rotation
n
nnProvide medical treatment for minor illnesses, injures and offer select diagnostic tests
n
nnPrescribe treatment, educate patients and refer for follow up care as needed
n
nnWork in a fast-paced environment and have excellent assessment skills
n
nnProvide high quality care to all ages
n
nnPatients per day varies depending on the season
n
nnNo call requirements
n
nnPatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
n
nnAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
n
nnExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
n
n nQualifications
nnnNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
n
nnBoard Certified
n
nn1-2 years of provider experience preferred
n
nnHold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
n
nnHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
n
nnEligible to work in the United States
