Job Description Job Description Orange County Foot & Ankle Institute is seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (English/Spanish) with experience in wound care to join our clinical team in Santa Ana, CA.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience evaluating and managing acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and other lower-extremity wounds.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic wounds
Perform comprehensive wound assessments
Develop and follow individualized wound care treatment plans
Manage diabetic foot ulcers and other complex wounds
Monitor for infection, delayed healing, and other complications
Educate patients on wound care, prevention, offloading, and follow-up
Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking patients
Order and review appropriate labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
Maintain accurate medical documentation
Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare providers
Requirements:
Active California Nurse Practitioner license
Current NP certification
Wound care experience required
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work collaboratively with the physician and clinical team
Preferred:
Experience with diabetic foot wounds and chronic ulcers
Experience in podiatry, diabetic foot care, vascular care, or advanced wound care
