nNurse ShadowRate: $20/hourShift: Full-Time, Part-TimeSchedule: Flexible
nGarden Gate Health Care Facility is looking to add a Nurse Shadow to its team. This position is designed for nursing students enrolled in the PN2 semester of an LPN program who are interested in gaining hands-on exposure to long-term care nursing. In this role, you'll observe licensed nurses, build clinical knowledge, and gain valuable insight into nursing practice while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals.

nRESPONSIBILITIES:
nnnObserve and shadow assigned LPNs and RNs during daily nursing activities
n
nnLearn about nursing workflows, communication, documentation, and resident care processes
n
nnObserve resident conditions and report observations to the assigned preceptor
n
nnReview vital signs and other resident information under the guidance of the preceptor
n
nnAssist with gathering supplies and supporting non-clinical tasks as directed
n
nnMaintain resident privacy, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times
n
nnFollow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control practices
n
nnParticipate in learning opportunities to enhance nursing knowledge and professional development
n
n nREQUIREMENTS:
nnnCurrently enrolled in the PN2 semester of a NYS-approved LPN program
n
nnStrong interest in pursuing a nursing career in long-term care
n
nnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
nnProfessional, dependable, and eager to learn
n
nnAbility to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
n
nnCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
n
