Nurse Technician Emergency DepartmentNurse Technician Emergency Department $ / hr Union: 1199 FULL-TIME 11 pm to 7 am Alternating weekendsJob Description:Provide basic nursing care to patients appropriate to condition and age of the patient.Provide general aspects of care that meet psychosocial and/or physical needs.Assists in admissions, transfers, and discharge of patients.Demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy and EKGRequirements/QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalency RequiredMinimum of 1 year job-related experience.Completion of Phlebotomy and EKG Training Program.Completion of Nurse Technician ProgramLegible handwritingGood communication skills (written, verbal and telephone)BLS requiredQualificationsEducationRequired: High School Diploma/Equiv or better.Licenses & CertificationsRequired: BLS CERT AMERICAN HEARTEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
