Day.Aspirus Eagle River Hospital in Eagle River, WI is seeking a NURSE TECHNICIAN I to join our MED/SURG team!Come gain hands-on experience to propel forward your RN student journey and help you prepare to take on your first RN position.Work under the direct supervision of an experienced RN - some of the best around; nurses who truly care about enhancing the knowledge and success of our upcoming RN coworkers!Aspirus Health begins Registered Nurse Internships three times throughout the calendar year at ALL Aspirus hospital locations in northeastern Minnesota, northern and central Wisconsin and the Upper peninsula of Michigan.Nurse Intern ProgramAspirus is excited to invite student nurses to apply and gain hands-on experience by working one-on-one with an experienced nurse during the 10-week programs.DATES:Summer Cohort - Starts in June - Deadline to apply is the second week of MayFall Cohort - Starts in August - Deadline to apply is the last week of JulySpring Cohort - Starts in December- Deadline to apply is the last week of NovemberWHO QUALIFIES:Students who have completed the equivalent of 3 years in a BSN program and/or completed 2 semesters of an ADN program, plus completed student nurse experience in a clinical setting at a minimum of 12 hours and completed a pharmacology course.WHAT TO EXPECT:1:1 experience working with a registered nurseOpportunities to enhance nursing skillsIncrease understanding of nursing processesBuild critical thinking skillsHours:10-week paid Internship, flexible, occasional statusWhile this is an occasional position, there is potential to work up to a full time.9FTE role.Eagle River has a variety of Nurse Internship positions available.Opportunities may be currently available in the following nursing areas:Med/SurgERORUrgent CareThe Process: To help us help you find the best possible match for your nursing career, APPLY TO THIS POSTING and you will be contacted by an Aspirus Talent Delivery Nursing Partner to discuss your desires regarding the patient population YOU most wish to serve.
