We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Stroke Specialty program.How you'll contributeYou'll make an impact by providing essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients. This includes but is not limited to:Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications and requirementsCPR/BCLS certification requiredMinimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferredExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.Why Join Us?We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
