Job description

Location: Cambridge Hospital Work Days: 8a-4p 3p-11p Category: Nurse Support Department: Inpatient Units Job Type: Temporary Work Shift: Various Shifts Hours/Week: 40.00 Union: No Union Name: Non Union Are you starting out in healthcare or looking for a career change? Summary: The Nursing Assistant knows and understands the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Nursing Service. Under the supervision of the professional nurse, the Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to assigned patients. Responsibilities: Understands and demonstrates current OSHA standards. Records patient care accurately on the Patient Care Flow Sheet Practices telephone courtesy and communicates appropriate information to patients, visitors, and personnel from other departments.
