Job description
Nursing AssistantMake every interaction count in the care of our cardiac patients. Join the CFH Cardiac Medical Unit as a Nursing Assistant and provide the hands-on support, comfort and compassionate care that helps patients throughout their hospital stay.Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.Department: CFH Cardiac Medical UnitShift: DaysSchedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Variable days of the weekStatus: Full-Time | 36 hours/weekRole Focus: Direct patient support, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient care environmentHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPost-high school specialized training preferredFlorida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferredBLS requiredMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English
