Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR)Ebenezer is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Ebenezer Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care)! This role provides hands on care and patient support services for our adult short stay patients at our spacious care center TCU in Edina, MN.Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. Located conveniently near Hwy. 62 and France Ave. and is on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. We offer employees many benefits including free meals if you work a double shift, beautiful walking paths for your breaks and opportunities for growth both in the TCU and Assisted Living.This patient support schedule includes:40 hours in two weeksDay shift; 6AM - 2PMEvery other weekend and holiday rotationBlock Schedule:Week 1: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Thursday, FridayResponsibilities:Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lightsNursing Assistant may per community patient care model check and record vitalsAM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter careMay turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistanceObserves residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise mannerChart or document in electronic medical record systemSeeks to resolve resident and family concernsReceives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shiftOther duties such as; order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answers phones in a timely mannerRequired:Active on MN Nursing Assistant registry by start dateIf hired into the Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Training program, granted a 4-month grace period from hire date to be active on the MN Nursing Assistant registryPreferred:Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric populationCommunicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkersExperience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident AssistantWork experience in a customer service settingEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
