Med/Surg Nursing Assistant OverviewAs a Nursing Assistant, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality care and building lasting relationships with your patients. Successful completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course preferred. Completion of a healthcare vocational program preferred.Experience: Experience in a hospital or a similar facility preferred.Licenses/Certification: Maintenance of CPR/BLS.ResponsibilitiesWe are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional care and services. As part of the Nursing Team you will:Make observational rounds as directed by the professional nurseObserve and assist patients under the direction of the professional nurseAssist in maintaining a safe, orderly, clean and comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitorsAssist with selected procedures, simple treatments, and activities of daily living under the direction of the professional nurse.Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00/hour DOE (shift and weekend incentive pay)Physical Requirements:Occasionally (1-33%) Walking, sitting, crouching, stooping stairs, lifting (0-20 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (20-50 lbs)Frequently (34-66%) - Standing, handling, pinching, change position, reaching, reach across midlineContinuously (37-100%) - Must be able to see with corrective eyewear, must be able to hear clearly with assistanceYour total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
