n nWhat You'll Do
nAs a Nursing Assistant, you'll play an important role in providing safe, compassionate care and helping patients feel comfortable and supported.
nYour responsibilities will include:
nnnAssist patients with activities of daily living and personal care
n
nnTake and document vital signs and participate in hourly rounding
n
nnRespond to patient call lights and help maintain patient comfort and safety
n
nnAssist with meals, tray setup, feeding, and nutritional needs
n
nnHelp patients with repositioning, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
n
nnAssist with physical and occupational therapy activities as directed
n
nnObserve patients and report changes in their physical or emotional condition to the nursing team
n
nnMaintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
n
nnAccurately document care according to hospital policies
n
nnWork collaboratively with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team
n
nnHelp maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming patient environment
n
n nThe Nursing Assistant provides essential support in delivering safe, quality patient care while working under the direction of nursing leadership and registered nurses.
nWhat We're Looking For
nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnHigh School Diploma or equivalent
n
nnAt least 1 year of customer service experience
n
nnStrong communication and interpersonal skills
n
nnAbility to work effectively as part of a team
n
nnAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
n
nnBasic computer skills
n
nnAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
n
nnWillingness and ability to float to different hospital units based on health system needs
n
n nHealthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
