nBaptist La Grange is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Surgical unit! This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking to get their start within the clinical field or to utilize their prior patient care experience.
nJob Summary:
nThe Nurse Assistant / Unit Secretary is an individual with clerical aptitude and clinical abilities that assist the nursingstaff by performing selected procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Will perform clerical duties asdirected to optimize department operations.
nResponsibilities:
nProvides Safe and Efficient Patient Care.
nCommunicates effectively.
nPerforms Scheduling, Computer and Clerical Functions.
nDemonstrates Scheduling Proficiency.
nDemonstrates Role Accountability.
nRequirements:
nHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred.
nBasic Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
