nJob Description:
nResponsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Duties will vary by patient care unit/department and include but are not limited to: Providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance, appropriately and safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping, recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies.
nAlong with organizes, and implements the non-nursing functions of assigned unit(s) to facilitate workflow, enhance unit productivity, and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff. Position promotes efficient unit function and indirect resident care. Performs clerical and reception duties; requisition supplies, equipment, and services as directed; assist with scheduling.
nEducation Qualifications:
nBLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
nLicensure/Certification Qualifications:
nMust meet ONE of the following requirements:
nnn6 months of patient care experience
n
nnCompletion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program
n
nnVerifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
n
nnCurrent registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry
n
n nThis position will work the following:
nnn48 hours per 2 week

nnEvery Other Weekend
n
nnRotating 8 Hour Shifts
n
nnDay Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
n
nnEvening Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
n
nnOvernight Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30AM
n
nnWe are looking for someone to mostly want to work Overnight Shift

n n$1500 for eligible candidates with work Commitment
