The hospitals have received multiple quality awards including Leapfrog "A" ratings for patient safety; Healthgrades recognition for orthopedic surgery, treatment of stroke, heart care, various surgical procedures, and more.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health Unit is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.Required Qualifications1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.2. Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.4. Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.5. Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current.Compensation And BenefitsSaint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.30 to $22.07.
