nWe are hiring for Full Time and Part Time positions with 12-hour day and night shifts available.

n nWhat You'll Do
nAs a Nursing Assistant on our Med Surg Acute unit, you'll be an important part of the patient care team. Under the direction of nursing leadership and Registered Nurses, you'll provide hands-on support to patients while helping the unit run smoothly.
nYour responsibilities will include:
nnnAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
n
nnTake and document vital signs
n
nnParticipate in hourly rounding
n
nnRespond promptly to patient call lights
n
nnAssist with meals, tray setup, feeding, and nutritional needs
n
nnHelp patients with repositioning, ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
n
nnAssist with physical and occupational therapy activities as directed
n
nnMaintain patient comfort, safety, and cleanliness
n
nnObserve patients and promptly report changes in their physical or emotional condition to the nursing team
n
nnAccurately document patient care
n
nnRespect patient rights, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
n
nnCommunicate professionally with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff
n
nnWork as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care
n
n nWhat We're Looking For
nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnHigh School Diploma or equivalent
n
nnAt least 1 year of customer service experience
n
nnExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
n
nnAbility to work effectively as part of a team
n
nnStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
n
nnProfessional and courteous approach when working with patients, families, and staff
n
nnBasic computer literacy
n
nnAbility and willingness to float to other hospital units based on health system needs
n
n nPrevious hospital or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
