nNursing Assistant II - Float Pool
nPart-Time 7p - 7a
nThe Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
nObtains and documents reported height and weighs patient on admission and documents.
nTurns and positions patients every 2 hours as indicated, using proper body mechanics.
nAssists and promotes activity, ambulation, up in chair and other activities as ordered.
nAssists patients with personal hygiene, including as showering, bathing, shaving, shampooing, perianal-care, catheter care and oral care.
nTakes and records vital signs accurately within established time frame.
nConsistently performs hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and promote customer satisfaction.
nRequirements:
nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED).
nCertified Nurse Aid certification required upon hire.
nOne year of relevant job-related experience required.
nBasic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
