About This Role
The Nursing House Supervisor Short Hour acts as the on-site administrative designee for the facility during off-shifts and weekends, managing patient care departments to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
Highlights
Pay: $89 - $115/hour
Location: Fremont, California
Facility: Fremont Hospital
Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift
What You'll Do
Manage off-hours and weekend patient care activities.
Ensure staff provides high-quality care in compliance with regulations.
Coordinate and monitor staffing for all shifts.
Participate in developing, reviewing, and updating departmental policies.
Identify and implement best practices for improved quality care.
Assess and monitor clinical nursing practice for optimal patient care.
Design and evaluate processes to improve systems and patient care results.
Follow up on all clinical issues.
Monitor quality of care delivered to meet patient needs.
Supervise staff, assess their needs, and identify educational opportunities.
Requirements
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience as charge nurse, preceptor, or in a related leadership role.
Licenses & Certifications
Current Registered Nurse License in California.
Basic Life Support certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
