Job description
Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $78 - $84/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
Serve as a registered nurse with demonstrated expertise in nursing practice
Supervise patient care delivery on the Medical/Surgical unit
Oversee and manage nursing staff performance and development
Manage Medical/Surgical unit operations effectively
Collaborate with the Leadership team to facilitate efficient clinical operations
Support and promote staff development initiatives
Ensure effective management of departmental resources
Lead and participate in quality improvement efforts on the Medical/Surgical unit
Maintain required certifications as outlined in the job description
Pass Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check as required
Maintain access to a reliable source of personal transportation
