Job description
St. Vincent’s Medical Center, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner to advance clinical excellence and lifelong learning for nursing staff. In this role, you will assess learning needs, design and deliver evidence-based education, support onboarding and competency validation, and serve as a clinical resource at the point of care. You will collaborate with nurse leaders, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to drive quality, safety, and regulatory readiness. The practitioner also evaluates program outcomes, mentors nurses in professional growth and certification, and promotes a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care across the organization.
