nSummary
nnnPerform routine treatment procedures as directed.
n
nnAssists Staff Nurse in complicated treatment procedures.
n
nnMaintain traction supplies including traction cart every shift.
n
nnComplete all equipment set up as directed.
n
nnReport any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient.
n
nnCommunicate any patient complaints of pain to patient's nurse, charge nurse or unit coordinator.
n
nnAssist in and, as necessary, accompany patient in the admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
n
nnProvide and/or assists with personal care as necessary (i.e. baths, dressing of patients, personal hygiene, etc.)
n
nnAssist with patient care, such as positioning patient, lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics, applying/utilizing special equipment as necessary and ambulating the patient as directed.
n
nnUnder supervision, perform general care activities for patients in isolation.
n
n nSchedule
nnn56 hours every 2 weeks
n
nnRotating shifts. Combination of both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
n
nnEvery 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
n
n nPay and Benefits
nnnStarting pay begins at $19.08 per hour and increases with experience
n
nnPay range: $19.08 to $25.30 per hour

n nQualifications
nnnHigh School Diploma or GED required.
n
nnCertified Nursing Assistant, preferred.
n
nnPrevious orderly or nurse aide experience preferred.
