Nursing Service Tech In The Float PoolFind your purpose by becoming a Nursing Service Tech in the Float Pool at Rice Memorial Hospital!SummaryPerform routine treatment procedures as directed.Assists Staff Nurse in complicated treatment procedures.Maintain traction supplies including traction cart every shift.Complete all equipment set up as directed.Report any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient.Communicate any patient complaints of pain to patient's nurse, charge nurse or unit coordinator.Assist in and, as necessary, accompany patient in the admission, transfer and discharge procedures.Provide and/or assists with personal care as necessary (i.e. baths, dressing of patients, personal hygiene, etc.)Assist with patient care, such as positioning patient, lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics, applying/utilizing special equipment as necessary and ambulating the patient as directed.Under supervision, perform general care activities for patients in isolation.Schedule56 hours every 2 weeksRotating shifts. Combination of both 8-hour and 12-hour shiftsEvery 3rd weekend and rotating holidaysPay and BenefitsStarting pay begins at $19.08 per hour and increases with experiencePay range: $19.08 to $25.30 per hourPart-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred.Previous orderly or nurse aide experience preferred.CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
