We have a fantastic opportunity for aFull-Time Nursing Supervisor (Evening Shift)in our Montefiore New Rochelle Facility.
Responsibilities
Managing effective patient flow for ED admissions and inpatient transfers, to meet Hospital throughput and maintain patient satisfaction.
Coordinating and evaluating staffing assignments with Unit Managers to meet appropriate patient to RN ratio for the incoming shift.
Troubleshooting hospital emergencies and responding to hospital and medical codes.
Nursing Supervisor functions as the liaison between hospital management and clinical care.
In coordination with interdepartmental teams, the Nursing Supervisor ensures that hospital operational standards are being met.
Reports to Senior Management and escalates pertinent events.
Assists patient and patient’s family members in any unresolved patient care concerns.
Acts as a clinical source to the healthcare team.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree a plus.
Valid NYS RN License.
Prior experience in a leadership role.
Organizational and Multitasking skills.
Listening and verbal communication skills.
Team building skills.
Problem solving skills.
Strong clinical background.
